Your body feels different every day. That’s why we have a variety of different styles of practice, depending on how you’re feeling.
Something for everyone
-
Hatha
Hatha is broad and varied practice using asana (postures), pranyama (breathwork) and meditation to bring the body, mind and spirit into alignment.
Each class is centred around a different theme to help you work the physical aspects of your body but also to create space in the mind. The primary focus is muscle and of all our practices this is the most fast paced.
-
Yin
This is a slower paced practice, designed to create a healthy stress on the joints and connective tissue.
Although it’s slower than Hatha, it can still feel quite strong as we hold the poses (using props if necessary) for between 2 - 5 minutes. It’s great antidote to the fast paced life we lead and can be beneficial as a standalone practice or in conjunctive with other more physical practices & sports.
-
Restorative
Consider this the ultimate act of self love and self care. This deeply nourishing practice is designed to support the body fully, so that you can relax and let go completely.
Using lots of props to allow the body to feel fully held, this activates the rest response and down regulates the nervous system. This is an important type of practice, but particularly so if you’re feeling run down or depeleted.

Beach
Beach yoga is an opportunity for you to move your body and connect with the elements.
This open level class is suitable for all as we not only move together and breath deeply, but we also allow ourselves to tune into the sound of the waves, feel the sun on our skin and spend time with other like minded souls. These classes are not only an opportunity to practice yoga, but also to connect with this wider, welcoming community at the beach.
